Hello Anime nerds,
Please don't feel insulted because I classify myself as an anime nerd as well. If you have not read the manga or seen the anime yet, you are truly missing out. The best way to describe this is by comparing it to another great show/ book series that is more well known. Attack on Titan would have to be the animated version of Game of Thrones, in the sense that the Titans are to White walkers as the main character Eren Yeager is to Arya Stark. Both characters have an inner passion to defeat an evil or fix a wrong that is too much for both of them to handle, they both must complete some sort of training before they dive in head first into a fight with something that is bigger than both of.
These titans are large man eating giants that don't need to eat to survive and yet they crave human flesh, not much is known about the titans, except for their one weakness on the back of their necks. This anime is so well written each episode has you guessing what is going to happen next. It's almost addictive and I sugest that you watch this anime.

My superheroes
Today I saw Man of Steel. And I absolutely thought it was great. The vast was amazing an there was plenty of action mixed with moments that tugged at your heart strings. I always grew up A Spider-Man fan, he was always, and will always be my favorite, but today I felt as if I cheated on favorite superhero with a DC hero.

I Have Nothing...
I feel as though I never follow through with things that pertain to the internet. And it really brings me down. So far I have read at least five books, but I have been so busy with school, that now that it is Summer, I can finally relax and stick to something. Even if no reads or listens.
Next week I will be going to San Francisco for a Summer workshop! I can not wait to open my shell, although it is nerve-wracking, I can evolve and start becoming the person I want to be. Lately I have been have this urge to write, but nothing comes out. So I guess it means I must clean out head (even though my room could use some cleaning too.)

Rambles and Rambles
What shall I call today? It was a short school day, but I must admit there was a down side, I don't even know how but I injured my back, maybe its due to an oncoming "Shark Week" now shark week for my friends and I are a code of sorts for that time of the month. I know to much, but I have seen worse on the internet. Has anyone else seen the girl who eats her own tampon, rather disturbing and extremely gross! I wouldn't sugest watching, its one of those things where you wish you could look away but you can't.
I wonder who it's grosser for, boys or girls. In the meanwhile, has anyone read "A Separate Peace"? It's an amazing story about these guys that go to an all boys boarding school in New Hampshire. I love this story and I would sugest it for liesure time.
To all those in New York (anyone in the east coast really) I feel for you, and it might not be that cold here in California, I remember the days of walking home in snowstorms.
I hope all the best to you all. But now I must sign off and figure out a more structured way of writing these blogs and staying on a topic, maybe even having a topic in mind before I write.
Tomorrow have a GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) meeting. So I may just write about that next week.
Love you all,
S.E. Perrella

My Amazing Intro
If you haven't guessed by the name, I am a bookworm. I love to read and I would love to share my reviews/comments on books that I read. I like many genres of books and movies, strangely enough my two favorites are horror and romantic-comedies. I plan to write a book of my own someday, but for now most of my writing is just for me.
Now, I know I chose "Brooklyn's Bookworm" but I actually live in California, but I am initially form Brooklyn, New York. I will try to write every Monday and post a new blog.
I am currently watching the "Carrie Dairies" I really like the show so far. I was born in the nineties, my mother was definitely an eighties child, being a teen around this time, like watching the and relateing what life was like for teens back then and teens now. Plus, it amuses me to the fashion and thinking of my mother wearing similar clothing.
I will post soon
